Clean, good friendly service, tasty and best of all a good cold beer. all sizes of the Legend beer are good. I prefer the smaller ones.
Food could be better and is average quality.
Service is good and fast. Nothing to complain.
All in all a great place to observe the ongoings down on the street.

What he said.
Seriously, Tsc sums it up well. We had a great afternoon but shelled out serious dong for the pleasure.
The beer is great, whatever size you drink it. The food needs some work when they are pricing average meals that high. I figure most people come for the beer, not the food, so Legends figures they can get away with it. Shame really. Some thought about serious 'beer food' would be really good.
The waitress, as the now ex-Aussie PM would say, gave it a "fair shake of the sauce bottle" in her efforts to get a food result out of one of our gathering. She really did try everything. He says "I don't want food, just beer." She immediately counters with "You want pizza...?" Full marks for effort, really.
Lastly, be aware that the wifi is so bad in Legends that not only will it not register on your laptop (they asked me to try a different seat...) but they encourage you to connect to the weak Highland Coffee signal that can be picked up. Cute.
Three stars - probably a tad generous but reflects our great afternoon together.

Good beer but not cheap, so I generally just go for one or two if Im in the area after work, before preceding to go drink the cheap weak piss at the bia hoi.
Nice place to sit and watch world go by, view of lake.
Free Wi-Fi.
Cant get anywhere near bottom of your glass without waitress asking if you want another.

Damn, this place is expensive! What I mean by that is, that the ROI equation is adjusted against the patron. However, if I needed someone for a job in Sales, I'd snap up my waitress in the drop of a hat - never seen anyone walk away disheartened by not managing to sell food with the beer.
Let me explain before you "Fail" me. I was with a party of four. We came here, in spite of the reviews to have a few quiet beers and maybe some of the "Legend Group's" legendary food. Sad to say, what I had was mediocre, and the rest of the offerings were... uninspiring, especially at the price! 239,000 vnd for an Aussie Steak!?!
Come On! Tug the other one - it plays Jingle Bells and brings everyone a little bit of satisfaction, despite what the Rolling Stones might say.
Environmentally, the room was air conditioned, but it was interesting to watch them carry out seasonal maintenance and cleaning on the A/C's and then be moved from one place to another so that they could continue.
I had the mixed fried rice. I was looking for something special. What I got could be summed up in a hand full of chicken cubes and hard green peas. I was not disappointed though, it hit the spot but it was not worthy of the price that accompanied it.
AND this seems to be the issue of all the other reviews before this one. The promise is there! But the delivery falls way too short. mediocrity is in the median, hence 3 stars.

Used to be a regular visitor to Legends on the lake, mainly for the view and the beer. the quality of the foods dropped off over the years. they used to do fantastic pork ribs, great beer food. however last time wasnt so flash, its still nice place to sit on the balcony with a stein for beer, beers reasonably priced, still prefer the legends off lang ha to this one, great atmosphere there... 3 stars for the beer
