Although I previously posted a positive review before, I was extremely disappointed when I went back this past weekend. I was trying on a shirt that was on sale and was quoted a price of $17. However, I happened to notice that a Vietnamese lady was trying on the same shirt. When she asked the price (in Vietnamese) she was quoted $10. When I confronted the sales girl about the difference she lied and said that price was for something else even though I had just watched the entire exchange.

Please note that I am still a Kana fan and usually can find a piece or two that works for me - it's a good place to stop and cheaper than George's.

BUT... yesterday I popped by to exchange a dress that I had bought a size too small last week during a caffeine buzz that made me have delusions that my measurements were much smaller. When I came in and explained I just needed the same dress in a larger size, the girl took the dress and receipt out of the bag and began smelling the dress.

She did not just give a furtive "have you worn this?" sniff -- she stuck her nose all over the fabric, smelling and searching for proof that I somehow planned to fob an already-worn garment on them. I assured her I had not worn it, but she continued with her sniff search.

SO - expats, if you're wearing dresses and returning them to Kana - stop it, for pete's sake. I have nothing against this practice per se, but it seems to have made the staff overly suspicious and I fear we're gaining a bad rep.

Seriously -- lengthy smell checks should get one star -- but the fabrics are good, as are some designs.

I was so happy to find this place! I found quite a few pieces I liked and ended up buying 3 items. Classic pieces - no sequins, diamantes or bows! Well made clothing with dresses between $30-$40. I think the prices are reasonable and staff more helpful than I've found in other more up-market shops. They weren't in my face and trailing me around the shop like some shops, and they came and took clothes from me to hang in the changing room and offered to look after my other bags.

Overall, a good shopping experience!

I am the customer who always come here to buy many beautiful clothes in Kana's. I love clothes here. Designed by Kana is great, material of clothes is good.
I read many reviews of somebody who complained about this shop( espcially in 41 Hang Trong), and i fell not satisfactory about some points.
In my opinion, I think the price in Kana's is quite cheaper than the others( for example Marie Linh, TanMy Design...). And about the staffs of Kana's, I think they're helpful, friendly and opening. I think the situation of telling lied like somebody commented above is not true. I'm Singaporian and i often come to VietNam ( HCM and HaNoi) to go to work. And i can compare of staff in Kana's to many store and i think the staffs in Kana are very helpful and they prepare willing to explain many question of me.
And the last thing i want to say is I like Kana Shop and I am very satisfied when i come here to reduce stressed and buy many good designed clothes of Kana's

This shop is ideal for my form to chooose... I like all of desgins of this shop.. even the prices are OK/
but I dont like the staff here, maybe they are not willing enough.
I ll come here many times during the times I live in Hanoi
