“they said "best coffee in town", but is also best pasta in town. the staff is really nice and it s my favorite spot to play pool. sometimes the music is too loud, but you can put your own music!! you have a lot of choice for the pasta and believe me they all are good... so come over to play pool ...”
CA-WOW - OMG!
They say there is someone for everyone out there. The same should be said about fitness centers. Walking into Saigon's California Wow is like walking into an Asian pop-video, with its bright colors, loud "sugar-pop" music and the young school children, I mean fitness attendants manning the front desk. The entrance is lined with posters of local celebrities, from actors to pop stars (WOW, how surprising) who frequent this gym. You feel a high level of energy while walking around, much akin to a serious sugar high from the overstimulation of blaring music, colors and bouncing, jumping, squatting gym members. This Thai chain is one of the largest fitness and yoga centers in Vietnam, featuring state of the art equipment and over 100 yoga classes (why does Bangkok's WOW feature a Pole Dancing class and Saigon's does not?) This fitness center is worth a visit, if for nothing more than the initial "WOW is this really a gym" factor.
