Name: Yoga Hanoi
Address: 31 / 15B Xuan Dieu,
Recently relocated to a beautiful new studio with bamboo flooring, Yoga Hanoi offers yoga more than 8 times per week. Currently the studio offers a gentle hatha style yoga suitable for beginners and challenging for those with more yoga experience. A wider range of styles and classes will be available after the Tet holiday, including Ashtanga. The emphasis is on mindfulness, safety and well-being.
Yoga Hanoi's first inception began at a ballet studio on Saturday mornings more than five years ago. It has grown into a full time, dedicated yoga studio supported by the Hanoi community of Ex-Pat's and local's alike. Located on the water of West Lake, the studio is quiet, clean and comfortable.
Kirsten Chong, a certified massage therapist from California and a Hanoian resident for more than 4 years, has been practicing yoga for more than 15 years and received her teachers training from the Sivananda Ashram in Kerala, India in 2001. After Tet she will be joined by two more teachers, and hopes to invite teachers from overseas to visit for extended workshops and retreats. The only western massage therapist in Hanoi, Kirsten currently practices massage therapy by appointment only at her private studio, Studio Verdure.
Classes are 100.000 vnd per class, and 10 class cards are available for convenience. Mention that you saw the class at the New Hanoian website and receive 50.000 dong of your first class!
