Had a business lunch at this place today. We had a nine course menu, with mainly fish and vegetables. Overall the food was quite nice, except that it was a little bit cold. The service was good, wine was nicely refilled.
The building is excellent, nice decorated and stylish interior which gives a warm feeling. The luxury feeling gave me higher expectations of the food though, that's why I gave it 3 stars in total.
I am not aware of the prices since I didn't had to pay, but if the prices are like they say below, price-quality is not bad after all.

I enjoyed the food and I loved the decor.
I agree that the prices are surprisingly inexpensive considering the location and the beautiful interior design.
The indoor rooms have air conditioning, and the outdoor tables are stylist iron tables with white table clothes and reside under the shade of large trees.

Felt a bit disappointed here. Loved the building, rather grand...so was expecting grand food too! Alas rather average Vietnamese food for higher than average prices!
The food was fine. Just fine. In fact the chicken in ginger and spring onions was quite tender and juicy, nicely cooked. But nothing else stood out for me.
Service was average.
And in such a beautiful house with great entrance, why do they fill it with such a harsh bright light completely ruining any atmosphere? maybe at lunch that is ok, but at night? Killed it.

I'm a fairly big fan of this place though not a frequent diner.
The setting --- an old, French colonial mansion --- is incredibly charming and the food is a bit east/west fusion with a preponderance on the Asian "east" side of things.
Service is a little too casual but all in, it works.
