KIM QUY!

uhh it's a club in the most backpackerist part of the old quarter... don't know what all y'all were expecting, but this place was everything I assumed it would be, loud, overpriced and filled to the brim with idiots dancing.

If you go in with that understanding, it's kinda hard to hate the place, they are just catering to their chosen market. Though this place would get real old, real fast, my one time visit was actually kind of fun.

Its ok to be upstair with less crowded, the staffs are kinda good, serve quite quickly.

But downstair is crazy, lot of teenagers, i have no idea what can i do here: dancing? no way no even a space for standing.

Definitely not my favourite!

You will only like this bar if you are a western tourist teenager escaping from your parents for an evening, or a desperately lonely Vietnamese Tweener looking to show off your fly new expensive threads. If you really want to sit on a dirty cushion on the dirty floor and catch herpes/cold sores/cholera and god knows what else, take a great big hit off of the disease ridden shisha pipe on the second floor. Just across from the shisha room, you can enjoy drunk Vietnamese youngsters spitting on the floor and screaming excitedly anytime someone knocks the JENGA pile down. All the while you get to listen to brain dead house music and all the unrelenting unoriginal talentless noise that it includes. But Hey! They got cheap drinks. Woot Woot!

Me end of July 2011, on my way to Budapest

Depending on who you hang out with, its an OK place to go.

The place is packed and crowded, so if you do not like tight spaces or spaced packed with people, stay away.

Not the cleanest of places, not the best of place and dunno if I would visit it often alone.

Upstairs some place to sit and smoke the shiska or however that waterpipe is called. Now I just go once a month with a friend-group, and I guess the cheap drinks + the company you bring with you is what makes the stay nice.

So all in all, I think it's a good 3-star place, but definite not suitable for everyone.

I dont like this place at all because it is super crowded, smoky, dirty and the music sucks. But my friends seem to like it a lot as they always want to go there. So I guess, if you like smoking shisha, seeing locals getting crazy, it's a good spot ;)!

If you like Dragonfly...

In the shisha room upstairs, the computer they use to play music has a very extensive playlist. Request a song and chances are they will probably have it. ~
