A completely enjoyable experience at a reasonable price. You are welcomed with ginger tea and a hot towel and asked for your preference of male or female masseur. Shiatsu, hot stone and Swedish massages are all on offer and ten visits (backed up by a loyalty card system) will get you a free massage. All staff are blind or partially sighted but are wholly confident in dealing with your requests. Massages of between 30 minutes to two hours are available.
The only problem is that after the massage you feel much too relaxed to take the journey home.

I have been in Hanoi for over 9 months and have been to Just Massage almost every week. I have found the massages at Just Massage are as good if not better than any massages I have had in Australia. Whoever trained the massage therapists certainly did a good job.
One thing that worried me living in Hanoi was developing lower back problems as I had in Australia and I was seeing a Chiropractor once a month Australia. But the weekly visit to Just Massage has meant I have not experienced any back problems . I can definitely recommend Just Massage as a great place in Hanoi to go for a relaxing or therapeutic massage.

I've been here a number of times over the past few weeks, every time the massage has been fantastic.

I've tried both the Swedish oil massage and the Shiatsu, which is my favourite of the two. Being pregnant, they offer special pregnancy versions of these massages which avoid certain pressure points and they have bolster cushions so I can lie comfortably on my side rather than my back or front.

The shiatsu has done a great job in improving my lower pack pain, the staff here really know what they're doing and are friendly and professional.

I've just had my second shiatsu massage at Just Massage and was once again extremely content.
There are a number of things that set Just Massage apart from other places in a similar price range:
• Firstly, the environment is clean, comfortable and calming and each bed is curtained off, providing privacy for changing

• Staff is very sweet and very well trained in massage and the associated niceties (for example, they leave you to change and are able to speak sufficient English to be able to ask "is there any where I should focus?" and "is it OK?")

• They are also welcoming and bring tea and a cold flannel on arrival and after the massage. Especially appreciated in this hot weather.

• The massage (shiatsu) is damn good! In particular, although it hurts it doesn't hurt in the same way as some other 'Vietnamese' massages that I've had, which have been truly painful. This hurts because they're hitting the spot!
As well as the shiatsu massages I have also had a foot massage - not quite as amazing but competent nonetheless - and a complementary Swedish. It was complementary because it was carried out by a trainee and they needed guinea pigs and I must say that although it was good, I really hurt a few days later. Anyway, that aside - it's nice to have somewhere to have an oil massage, as this is rare in the more local places.
I was going to take a star off, because, contrary to the previous reviewer's experience, I’ve been really hot in there which detracts from the massage slightly, and also because of the problems I had after the Swedish. BUT on balance that would be unfair: they did put the a/c on (it just took ages to cool down) and it was a trainee and on balance this place deserves full marks.

We came here yesterday to have some hot stone massage for my birthday. Reading comments from other posters here, we thought it would be a good massage place and the fact that it supports under-privileged Vietnamese sealed that decision.

Overall, the massage was totally forgettable, and almost burned my back with the hot stones. I had hot stone massages before in other countries but this one leaves much to be desired.

I want to support this place but they should train their masseuses/masseurs better. Maybe in few months, I will come back to try again if they improved but for now... I'd rather not.

Next time I will take any other reviews here with more than a grain of salt.
