I have eaten here numerous times now. The first time it's a little confusing at least it was for me with paying some small fee up front and then being seated and then coming back to pay more. Some items cost more if you want to eat it like Bo Uc slices and what not. They don't speak much for English, but they do ok. Staff is quick and very helpful picking up the used dishes.
Opening at 11am it's a little later. If you get there right then there isn't much for selection on the conveyor belt yet. So wait about 15 minutes and then the good stuff starts rolling out. Make sure to get a seat towards the head of the line or you won't get much after going past about 100+ people before you.
Now the food here.
I really like this place because I am a picky eater. Especially when it comes to my "Hot Pot." I can't stand it when people are putting seafood into the same pot that I am using. So what's nice about this place is that each person has their own hot pot and you get to choose what goes in when. None of this, "No you can't put noodles in yet you have to blah blah blah......." I will put whatever I want to put in my little hot pot.
A lot of selections with veggies, mushrooms, meats, seafood going past you. This place is fun because I think it activates something I haven't used in years of living here, the hunter gatherer skill. I have to constantly be on the look out for the "good stuff" trying to sneak by and make sure to snag it before anyone else does. Or you can cheat which I have started to do and sit on the 3rd row and the women putting food on the conveyor belt will help get what you want before she even gives anyone else a chance.
I give it 4 stars because I really like the atmosphere it's a great place just to sit down for an hour or more and eat till you can't anymore. And the food on the conveyor belt is mesmerizing to me.
