Vietnam and the United States in 2017 and Beyond @ Sheraton Hanoi Hotel

Friday, May 19

8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Sheraton Hanoi Hotel

While we regret that enthusiasm for the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement has faltered, both the American and Vietnamese business communities continue to work for strong and deep bilateral commercial relations. To discuss the future of the trade and investment relationship, AmCham, the US Chamber of Commerce and VCCI will convene a special conference on May 19 in Hanoi. Updated information about the conference are available on our website at:

This conference will be an opportunity to emphasize the importance of the US-Vietnam commercial relationship, and to hold in-depth discussions on ways in which to promote continued trade and investment between our countries. As Vietnam chairs APEC in 2017, this conference also provides an opportunity to examine economic relations in a regional context as well as innovative ways to spur greater trade and investment.

His Excellency President Tran Dai Quang is scheduled to deliver the keynote address and other government leaders will also participate. This conference will include over 200 private sector leaders from the United States, Vietnam and across the region. Discussion topics will address a range of relevant and timely issues. Anybody with an interest in seeing increased US-Vietnam commercial ties is welcome to attend this conference. No walk-ins will be seated – you must register in advance.
