23 June Reducing the Risk of Online Fraud Workshop @ The Landmark Hanoi

Friday, June 23

8:30 am - 11:30 am

The Landmark Hanoi

“You didn’t click it, did you?" We’ve all heard the warning about email phishing attacks: Don’t click on suspicious links or attachments in an email. Hackers can infect your computer with a virus or get access to sensitive information. No one is immune to attack and 30 percent of fake mails do get through antivirus/firewall protection. However, you can take precautions to reduce the risk of your company becoming the next victim. Join AmCham’s non-technical workshop on June 23 where you can learn in plain language how to:

• Implement a policy to address this risk.
• Greatly reduce your risk of being attacked.
• Recognize different kinds of phishing emails.
• Identify what the criminals are after.
• Minimize this risk from your suppliers and customers.

Case studies will be presented together with references and materials, plus, a guideline that can reduce your risk substantially within days simply by conducting internal training programs.
