Mì vằn thắn (Wonton noodles) is a noodle dish which was adopted from Guangzhou, China. The dish is usually served in a hot broth, garnished with leafy vegetables, and wonton dumplings. The types of leafy vegetable used is usually cải làn (kailan, also known as Chinese kale). Another type of dumpling known as sủi cảo (shui jiao) is sometimes served in place of wonton. It usually contains prawns, chicken or pork, and spring onions with some chefs adding mushrooms.
