Nem Phùng

Nem Phùng (Phung rolls) is a type of Nem cuốn which originated in Phung township, Ha Tay, Hanoi. Nem Phùng is famous for its unique taste derived from mixing fried shredded pork with thính (a mix powder of rice, salt and pepper). It’s eaten with raw fig leaf. Although the dish has been popular for decades, its recipe is still an active secret by Phung township dwellers.
