Trứng chim cút (quail egg) is quail eggs. They can be served in one of two primary ways: as a fertilized quail embryo that is boiled alive or just as a hard-boiled quail egg. Quail eggs are eaten with salt, ginger, rau răm (Vietnamese coriander leaves) and a sauce made from fish sauce.
