I didn't like this place. It was very crowed when i was there. All of them were local. I went their once and my steak tasted sweet and salty, i could tell it was full of MSG. Our group tried several things but honestly none of them are any good. The best part was you have to pay for parking there.

Pretty good bittet - place.

I've been her a couple of times and everytime I was the only Tay in here, what I kinda liked. It's always full of Vietnamese groups

Bittet is good and prices are reasonable. Staff is attentive and you don't have to wait long to get your chow.

This is not your usual steak house as its very difficult to locate it for a foreigner. But why do it yourself when you are not local. Ask anyone along the street and they will quickly point out to you! Walk through a dark and long skinny alley and be surprised. Or rather, follow the great aroma of fried chips! Just shoot when you are not sure what to order as you wont go wrong. The chicken chop was my favourite although i thought the portion would have been better if it was smallers so I do less workout the next day at the gym and the Banh My (Vietnamese bagguette). Good food but not a place that you wear your nicest clothes there as they can be a little Eau D Toilette Ong Loi and you lose your signature Gucci after a meal. Anyway, its worth it and visitors to Hanoi must try it. I love it and keep going back except feeling regretful the next day!

I have been noticing the small entrance on this restaurant for some time and had heard some good things about it so we decided to give it a try. You enter through a narrow alleyway from the street and work your way back through the maze until, lo and behold, there is a big restaurant back there! It is full of locals and you pass right by the small kitchen as you go in so you cant miss the aroma of frying beef and khoai tay chien. They have their system down pat and will take your order immediately. We were very hungry so we gobbled up the cucumber and tomato salad and a couple of banh my almost at once. After a short wait, the mains started arriving. We ordered the signature beefsteak and also a roasted chicken plate. The chicken was tender with a nice, rich sauce and the beef was pretty good quality. The portions are fairly generous but, alas, there was the unmistakable taste of MSG! That is unfortunate as the flavors would have been just fine without it. I have become accustomed to getting some in most Vietnamese food in Hanoi; however, this was too much. 4 stars pushing 5 for the potential of the food, price and service but back to 3 because of the MSG.
