I second fizzy's review.

This is a great place for a walk, a sit, a kite flying outing, to take the kids to blow off some steam, to practice some pull-ups, to participate in a Vietnamese style dance workout to the gummy bear song, or to watch Nouveau riche Vietnamese kids attempt rollerblading.

As Fizzy mentions you can go on the grass by the hill and fly a kite, or just sit. There are also approximately 200 benches (seriously) so sitting is clearly encouraged.

Oh my god the zip line! If I didn't think the guards would beat me I would go on this thing! It is so cool and it's free. If you have kids take them, for real Hanoi is lacking in cool things for kids.

They also have a small exercise area for adults, with a pull-up bar, parallel bars and some crazy thing that you apparently do leg exercises with. It is small but it makes for a nice pause in between your walking rounds.

All in all it is a great park in a growing part of the city.

This park is EPIC! It has a lake, with great sidewalks to walk/run/bike/scooter... and its big enough that you're not just going in a circle twenty times to get a work out. Also, there is GRASS! And, as of June 1st, they put in a GREAT playground with astroturf and really wonderful equipment for all ages of kids. There is fun ride on toys for young ages with a zipline for older kids. There is also a little area with rides, that is clearly older, but still fun. It is a REALLY great park that our 3 and 5 year olds LOVE, as do we!
