I went to More Hair last week to get my blond, short hair cut. They spoke very good English and the hair washing+head massage as well as the cutting was very professional and the outcome was even better than I imagined.
For washing, cutting and styling I paid 360.000 VND. I would definitely recommend that!

Long time reader, first time reviewer. I was a little bit worried when I heard my favourite stylist and waxist were leaving Hair Workshop but relieved when they opened their own beauty salon. Yesterday I went along not expecting much more than a hole in the wall but was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful spacious salon. The ambience is awesome, it's like something from home. The products are the same but much cheaper and good selection of English magazines. Downstairs is the salon and upstairs is the beauty and massage rooms including one with a shower for after your oily massage. As always Quynh is a gem and makes waxing less painful and Bich always manages to make my fine fly away hair look good. All round a great place to go to make yourself beautiful!

After deciding to have my very long hair cut to to suit the upcoming summer I spent a lot of time ready reviews of salons and picked this one because of all the great reviews !

I can only say that my experience was disspointing beyond words. I had collected around 6 photo's of 3 slightly different hairstyles that I liked to take with me. Upon arriving I was greated by 2 hairdressers and showed one of them the photos I had which she glanced at VERY briefly and then I was shuffled off for a hair wash. After being sat in the chair I asked her if she wanted to she the photos again and she said no, feeling nervous I showed them to her again however she did not take a lot of interest. I then expalined to her that I had had long hair for over 15 years so cutting it off was quite a big deal to me - she nodded and then went about cutting my hair. What I eventually ended up with was WAY WAY shorter that the styles I had shown her and when I questioned the length of my hair mid cut commenting that I thought it was too short she told me that I was making HER nervous !!! But the worst of all of this was when she absolutley went to town on my hair with the thining scisors despite me saying I would like it only SLIGHTLY layered. My once glossy thick hair is now wirey, fluffy, thin and WAY shorter that I would ever have wanted it to be !

I would have expected more time from a 'good' hairdresser to sit and discuss a hairstyle with a client and work out what the customer wanted particularly when I made it very clear it was a big deal for me to cut my hair ! instead she went straight to work to cut my hair how she wanted

Disspointed is an understatement ! This will now take me a good 6 months to get my hair back to a decent thickness and length !

The 'feel' of the salon was nice and modern however I would suggest if anyone uses this salong you take the time to be particularly clear to ensure the stylist knows EXACTLY how you want your hair cut !

I don't know why people go on and on about this place. When I walked in, of course there were only tay nu's, and totally the expat spouse age group.

I wanted something funky, and even showed them some photos on Pinterest. The cut my head in half and bleached it. It looked faded and disgusting. Then I went back to have more of my natural color put on top of the bleached part, they add a few strands here and there, and took many hours.

Yeah, they are nice, but I could care less about nice if I'm paying 80 dollars. Also at some point Bich just had the assistants do everything, further ruining my hair.

Totally worthless, not cool. And it's not just me. I saw a work colleague there who confessed she didn't have the heart to break up with the More! girls because they were so nice, even though they gave her horrendous haircuts the past three times.

If I'm paying 80+dollars, which I never do, I don't want a shampoo girl doing the application. Also, i don't want a horrendous attempt as if I didn't show you a photo.

Really bad experience. Maybe if you're doing something conventional and boring like covering your grey (expat wives) then go there, but I wanted something fun. Lame.

Went to this place because of a personal recommendation and the reviews on TNH. I am that terrible combination of fairly particular about my hair, having high aspirations that my hairstyle will change my life...but also having no idea of what I definitely want or how to get it! Nightmare customer for sure. On top of this, my hair had been dyed at home for 3 years and so was not looking its best, sporting various shades at different levels...More Hair dealt with all this perfectly. I produced numerous pictures of jennifer anniston and cool surfer chicks (obviously hoping the hairdo will also change the face and body!), which were looked at and carefully considered. She took quite a while to work out what needed to be done with my colour, which was reassuring, before managing to completely and perfectly correct the colour back to my natural tone (which I couldn't even remember myself). The blonde highlights were then painstakingly applied by two members of staff for over an hour, and all the effort was definitely worth it. The following cut managed to make me feel like I truly do have more hair, even though some was obviously removed! The result, a good, non-extreme cut and excellent natural colour job. All this cost just shy of 3 million VND, but considering it was two colour jobs and 4 and a half hours work, I'm pretty impressed. I was also offered more blonde in the ends for free next time I go for a cut, which I will definitely be doing soon.

As everybody else said, clean, comfortable salon, nice motivated staff.

Go to More Hair! for a panic free great hairdo, especially if looking for good blonde.
